I know it probably looks like I've dropped off the face of the planet, and I sorta have. Summer so far has been insanely busy and stressful. I'm working two jobs, and as much as I'm itching to spend some quality time with photoshop, I just haven't had the time. I also feel really bad for neglecting my role play characters, and all my friends on ItN who I am also neglecting. I thought that without the stress of exams and other school work weighing on me, I would have more time to myself but I was sadly mistaken. I barely have time to eat a meal or get a full night's sleep, much less enjoy the summer. I have a pool in my backyard and I have yet to swim in it. How sad is that? I haven't ridden my filly in over a week. I haven't seen my best friend for that long either, and she lives four houses down.

The up side to working that many hours is the pay. If you read previous journal entries, you would know that my mother got a gypsy vanner and wanted to sell off Rags in order to pay for him. Well, I have taken on full financial responsibility for Rags, and so far, I have had no trouble keeping up with his board and farrier bills. I even got myself a new computer! It's a Toshiba lap top that has 3x the memory, and almost 4x the hard drive space than my old one. Also, the screen is much brighter so I can actually see what I'm doing on photoshop now! Of course, it's not like I've had the time to use the new computer. I also have not ridden Rags at all, not once, since I've been home.


I did request to work fewer hours for the rest of July and August, so hopefully, without those 11 hour work days, I'll be able to breathe and actually have a little bit of a summer. Then maybe some new things will crop up in my gallery and maybe they'll be better since I can actually see them now!
